Two persons have reportedly been kidnapped in a military estate on the outskirts of Abuja, the nation’s capital.
It was learnt that the bandits invaded Phase 2, Army Estate, Kurudu at about 10pm on Thursday, January 18.
Eyewitnesses said there was an exchange of gunfire between the bandits and the estate security officials.
However, the gunmen were said to have escaped with two victims.
Abuja, the nation’s capital has witnessed a significant rise in the number of kidnapping incidents recently.
Those kidnapped have either been killed or huge ransoms paid for their release.
Although the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike on Wednesday, vowed to make Abuja hot for kidnappers, many more incidents have continued to be witnessed around the FCT
