The All Progressives Congress, APC, has reopened its membership electronic-registration exercise across the country ahead of the 2027 general elections.
A statement by its National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, said the exercise is effective Monday, August 31, 2026, in preparation for next year’s general elections.
The party invited all stakeholders, supporters, and members, both existing and new, to participate in the exercise, which will take place in every ward nationwide.
According to the statement, existing members are required to validate their membership records, while new and intending members are encouraged to register and join the party.
It noted that eligibility is restricted to individuals aged 18 years or older who possess a valid National Identification Number, NIN.
“The e-registration exercise aims to digitise the party’s membership register and safeguard the integrity of membership records.
“It also aims to improve access to data for planning and management, promote internal democracy, and reinforce the APC’s commitment to democratic innovation in Nigeria,” the statement said.
