Nigerian musicians, Wizkid and Davido have been announced among the winners of the 2025 NAACP Image Awards.
The winners of the 56th edition of the award were announced on Tuesday and Wednesday nights.
Wizkid on Wednesday, won the ‘Outstanding Duo, Group or Collaboration for his collaborative song with Brent Faiyaz.
This year’s award is Wizkid’s sixth NAACP Image win, making him the Nigerian most-awarded artist.
On the other hand, Davido won an award for ‘Outstanding International Song’ following his collaboration with Chris Brown.
While Tems, Burna Boy and other Nigerian singers lost in their categories.
NAACP is the annual National Association for the Advancement of Colored People award to recognize outstanding achievements in the arts and media.
