A Nigerian man, Steward Godwin Johnson, has taken to Facebook to lament after his sister-in-law who attends Jehovah’s Witness passed on after her brethren at the church stopped her from getting a blood transfusion.
According to him, the blood transfusion was refused for a surgery she underwent.
He further called for an end to the religious doctrine.
He wrote;
“My sister-in-law just died because her JW brethren refused blood transfusion for her surgery. It’s insane. The Bible never spoke against blood transfusion. This has to stop. You eat chicken bones/marrow.”
