The opposition coalition led by former Senate President David Mark will not succeed.
This assertion is according to the lawmaker who represents the Yagba East and Yagba West/Mopamuro Federal Constituency in Kogi State, Leke Abejide.
Abejide made his boast on national television on Thursday, while appearing on Channels Television ‘Sunrise Daily’ programme.
The lawmaker claimed to be the financier of the opposition coalition created by former members of the Peoples Democratic Party to unseat President Tinubu.
The coalition had at its unveiling, on Tuesday, adopted the African Democratic Congress, ADC as its political party ahead of the 2027 general election.
But according to Abejide, the opposition coalition led by former Senate President David Mark would not succeed.
The lawmaker revealed he would not rule out the possibility of leaving the African Democratic Congress, ADC, for the All Progressives Congress, APC, in days to come.
Recall that the coalition had announced former Senate President, David Mark as its interim National Chairman and the former Ogun State Governor, Rauf Aregbesola as its National Secretary.
